A local colouring book about the Realm of Nature: Ringkøbing-Skjern.

But not just any colouring book! A colouring book where you can color well-known motifs from the whole of Ringkøbing-Skjern, while you get to know the history of the place. You can live right into the place and experience the West Jutland spirit and culture that the book conveys. In addition, the colouring book is a (sort of) tourist guide that gives you an overview of and information about the places. It takes you to local experiences and invites you to creativity and relaxation. Both the motifs, which are the artist’s own creations, and the stories that the author has written for each picture, make the book something very special.

The colouring book is published in 2 versions: an adult and a children’s version, where the patterns in the adult version are more complex than in the children’s version.

All story texts are written in 3 languages, Danish, German and English.

The motifs can be coloured when you want to have fun for yourself, or with your family or friends.

The colouring books can be bought via our webshop, in Ringkøbing-Skjern Museum’s stores, at the bookstore in Skjern and a few shops.

The colouring books are a local product, which was developed and produced by AS Visuals within the project “Draw and paint your municipality: Ringkøbing-Skjern” in collaboration with Ringkøbing-Skjern Museum. The project was supported in 2019 by the so-called LAG funds under Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality, or rather by the “European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development: Europe invests in rural areas”. The project ran from 1 February 2019 to 30 April 2020.
